There’s lots of reasons why we love QR Codes for advertising - they’re trackable, allow brands to connect with customers instantly and on, and on. And let’s face it, they’re just downright cool.

So what did a German Toy Store use to advertise Lego? You guessed it: They created QR Codes made entirely from Lego bricks. The codes could then be decoded (see below) to engage and involve the customer, and allow them to make a purchase directly from their mobile phone.

Now, while the idea is great (hat’s off to the person who came up with it) and I’ve no doubt the QR Codes worked in the store, we couldn’t scan them directly from the images on the website.
